Course Description:
The Accelerated Arabic Programme: Level 1 is an intensive 12-week course designed for individuals who can fluently read the Qur’an and wish to deepen their understanding of the Arabic language. This course provides a comprehensive introduction to Arabic grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure, laying a solid foundation for further linguistic studies. Through a blend of theoretical lessons, practical exercises, speaking, listening, and handwriting modules, students will develop essential language skills to progress confidently to Level 2.

Prerequisites:
Participants must be able to read the Qur’an fluently.
Progression:
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be eligible to enroll in Level 2 of the Accelerated Arabic Programme.

Course Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Identify and classify Arabic words, including definite and indefinite nouns.
- Recognize and differentiate between sun letters and moon letters.
- Understand and apply the concepts of masculine and feminine gender in Arabic.
- Comprehend and use declension and apparent declension in sentence construction.
- Formulate and utilize singular, dual, and plural forms of Arabic nouns.
- Construct basic Arabic sentences using appropriate syntax and grammar.
- Use prepositions and understand the genitive case in context.
- Employ demonstrative and personal pronouns accurately.
- Create descriptive and genitive phrases effectively.
- Develop basic conversational skills through speaking and listening exercises.
- Improve Arabic handwriting for clear and accurate written communication.
Assessment:
The course will employ a combination of written and verbal assessments to evaluate students’ comprehension and practical application of the language skills taught.
