Amanah Institute was established in the heart of London in 2023.
We aim to provide students of knowledge with real opportunities to learn Arabic and Islamic Sciences, from the basics of Islam right the way through to advanced Islamic theological studies. We want to equip our students with authentic teachings of Islam through classical texts and sources, whilst establishing a real awareness of the modern, globalised world that we live in.
Our responsibilities are to support our students to practice the religion of Islam with love and confidence, and to produce the Scholars and Leaders of tomorrow through our unique, bespoke Arabic and Islamic Sciences Programmes. We humbly hope to follow and honour our rich Islamic heritage through the delivery of our services.
We deliver our courses online using contemporary IT platforms, providing a unique and interactive learning experience for our students, and allowing us to deliver our services to our local communities and to seekers of knowledge from around the world. Our services are open to our Muslim brothers and sisters equally.
Our vision and ethos are simple: we want every one of our students to Learn, then Teach others, thereby Inspire generations to come.
Founders & Directors
Ustadh Sayed Ahmed (Founder)
Ustadh Sayed Ahmed graduated with a Masters degree in Islamic Theology from Imam Zakariya Academy (London). During his time on the program, Ustadh Sayed had the privilege of learning from esteemed and respected teachers in the field, including Mufti Abdur Rahman Mangera, Mufti Zubair Patel, Mufti Sadr Uddin, and Mufti Talha Uddin.
Usatdh Sayed’s ambition is to establish a modern, professional and leading educational institute that is steeped in our rich Islamic traditions.
Shuaib Muhammad (Managing Director)
Shuaib Muhammad’s passion for the Islamic educational sector is evident through his extensive experience in this field, which spans more than a decade. Since 2006, he has held numerous management positions in well-known and reputable Islamic institutes, where he has acquired invaluable knowledge and expertise, including the delivery of programmes ranging from Arabic Language courses to highly acclaimed Arabic Intensive and Alimiyyah programmes at Ebrahim College (London). Shuaib now brings this wealth of expertise to his role as Managing Director of Amanah Institute. Shuaib is responsible for spearheading the development and delivery of a diverse range of courses and programmes aimed at both domestic and international students.
